Joel Embiid Seemingly Trolls Ben Simmons, Brooklyn Nets After Kevin Durant Requests A Trade: “LOL”

Kevin Durant has shocked the entire NBA world after requesting a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. The two-time NBA champion waited until Kyrie Irving re-signed with the Nets to confirm what many people thought he would do and requested a trade from the team.

Everybody is talking about this now, including Durant’s peers. After the news saw the light, many people had something to say. Good or bad, the entire NBA community expressed its opinion about this situation, including the so-proclaimed troll of the league, Joel Embiid.

Just like he did when Ben Simmons was traded to the Nets last season, he sent a short message on Twitter, trolling his former teammate, Kevin Durant and the entire Nets organization.

LOL

— Joel Embiid (@JoelEmbiid) June 30, 2022

“LOL,” Embiid simply tweeted.

You don’t need to be that sharp to know that this was aimed at the Nets and their players, who won’t be able to play a single game together. Ben Simmons couldn’t make his debut last season and now that KD is gone, he won’t be able to share touches with him at Barclays Center.

Embiid grew unhappy with Ben and he also had a back and forth with Durant last season, so he has reasons to enjoy this request more than anybody outside of the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers are working to build the best possible team for next season. James Harden gave them the flexibility to add another player that can boost their level. While things are looking promising for Philly, in Brooklyn, everything is a disaster right now.
