Kendrick Perkins Picks Los Angeles Clippers As His Favorites To Win The 2023 NBA Title: "No Other Team Has The Depth Like The Los Angeles Clippers At The Wing Position And Has Two-Way Players Like The Clippers."

The 2022-23 NBA season will soon begin, and towards the end of the offseason, most organizations have built their rosters. Of course, there will be changes over the season, but the initial rosters have been pretty much finalized for all the teams in the league.

With that being said, it means that the favorites to win the 2023 NBA Championship are also being formed from both conferences. While there are many teams who could end up winning the title, the Los Angeles Clippers seem to be a popular choice among fans and the media.

So much so that an ESPN panel has already picked the Clippers as the favorites to win the 2023 NBA title. To be honest, the Clippers have a great roster, including Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and their offseason recruit, John Wall.

On paper, the Clippers look scary, and it is obvious they are favorites to at least make it to the NBA Finals next season.

Kendrick Perkins Explains Why He Thinks The Los Angeles Clippers Are The Title Favorites

There are many reasons why one might pick the Clippers as the favorites to win it all next season.

But as per NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins, the biggest reason of them all is the fact that the team has incredible depth at the wing position and has a plethora of amazing two-way players.

"Hell yeah! They actually my favorite to win it all. I'm telling you that right now. The Los Angeles Clippers are my favorite to win it all. They're stacked at the most important position in the NBA. No other team has the depth like the Los Angeles Clippers at the wing position and has two-way players like the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum, Norman Powell. That's five guys at the perimeter position.

You looking at Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. We know what they can give you offensively. Norman Powell proved that he can average 20 in this league. Now, look at the other end, defense. Nicolas Batum, 6-9, versatile defender. Paul George, versatile defender, can guard the guard and wings. Kawhi, we already know what type of savage he is defensively. Robert Covington, a defender. ... I'm forgetting Marcus Morris. They still got him. A ruff rider who not backing down from nobody."

Having good two-way players is incredibly important for a team to succeed in the NBA. They can be the game-changers for any NBA franchise, and the Clippers seem to be betting on that.

On top of that, their superstar Kawhi Leonard will be returning to action after missing last season due to injury. Everything seems to point toward the Clippers having a tremendous 2022-23 NBA season. Hopefully, they won't let go of this opportunity.
