Kevin Durant Uses An Old Kanye West Tweet To Seemingly Take A Shot At Patrick Beverley: “He Running Around Like He Pac.”

Patrick Beverley has caused quite a stir in the NBA world with his latest controversial actions, although these happen to be off the court. The Timberwolves guard has always been a contentious figure thanks to his tenacious and sometimes borderline dirty play, and his latest way to rile up other players has been to call out Chris Paul on ESPN following his poor playoff performances.

Matt Barnes responded to Beverley’s comments on ESPN itself, stating that he was out of pocket for the comments he made about Paul. Damian Lillard has tweeted about it as well, calling Beverley’s behavior ‘weird’. And the latest player to seemingly take a shot at Beverley is Kevin Durant, who tweeted a cryptic Kanye West quote that has many fans thinking it’s about Beverley.

Although the tweet makes no mention of Beverley, Durant often gives his take on things that are happening in the NBA, and fans seem to be under no doubt that this particular comment is about Beverley and his takes:

“I’m assuming this is about Pat Bev lol.”

“Everyone out here giving Pat Bev hell.”

“Beverley deserves every bit of this.”

“First Dame, now KD, LeBron better call out Beverley soon too.”

“Tbh has a current NBA player ever done what Pat Bev is doing rn? It’s one thing to tweet/pod but to go on national TV and say a bunch of out of pocket stuff is wild.”

“Everyone sees hpw ridiculous Beverley is.”

“I knew KD would have something to say about this sh*t, W.”

“Put a mention on it big fella.”

“Oh, Durant choosing violence today too?!”

“This is adding so much fuel to the fire.”

“I swear I can’t get enough of this drama.”

“I wonder what PatBev gonna have to say about this.”

While current players and former players aren’t shy about sharing their views regularly on occasion, few have gone as hard at one another as Beverley did at Paul in his ESPN appearances. While all this is doing is drawing more attention to the situation, it seems that the biggest stars in the game aren’t too pleased with Beverley’s latest shenanigans.
