Kyle Kuzma isn’t done with the city of Cleveland after Cavaliers’ fans claimed he only won a championship because he played alongside hometown hero LeBron James. Kuz didn’t appreciate that and fired back at fans, saying they wouldn’t be s**t if it wasn’t for The King.

That motivated the Washington Wizards forward, who had a good game last Wednesday, finishing with 22 points and 5 rebounds in Washington’s 97-94 win over the 2016 NBA champions. After the game, he signed the sign that read, “Without LeBron, Kuzma wouldn’t have a ring.” He also pointed out that the ending of the game, where he went off, was their fault for taunting him.

That was a big win for Kuzma on and off the court, but the battle wasn’t finished between the player and the city. In fact, one local news station attacked him too, displaying a similar message when the player appeared on TV.

“Kyle Kuzma – Won an NBA Championship thanks to LeBron James,” News 5 Cleveland wrote.

Well, Kyle didn’t think twice to reply and sent a similar message to the network, admitting he won his ring because of Bron but reminding them that James was the only reason they put their hands on the Larry O’Brien trophy.

“City of Cleveland we have something in common. Nice to meet you,” Kuz tweeted on Monday.

The Cleveland Cavaliers became NBA champions for the first time in 2016 after LeBron, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love led a 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors in the Finals.

James was incredible for his squad from Game 5 through Game 7, taking the squad to the promised land. He was huge in the Lakers’ 2020 championship run, and Kuzma is well aware of that. However, he won’t let anybody pick on him for that.

He knows LeBron was important in winning a ring, but he’s ready to remind Cleveland that they were relevant because of Bron, and without him, it’ll be a long before they win the title again.
