Kyrie Irving Takes A Huge Shot At LeBron James: “This Is The First Time In My Career I Can Look Down And Be Like ‘That Mutherf—er’ Can Make That Shot Too.”

Kyrie Irving seems to really enjoy hyping us all up for the 2020-21 season. He has routinely praised KD and their partnership, doing so again today in a chat on the Etcs podcast.

Speaking on being the best option late in games, Irving gave enormous props to his co-star Kevin Durant, saying it’s the first time he has been able to trust anyone but himself to make big shots down the stretch.

Kyrie says playing with KD is the first time he's been able to defer late in games 👀

Coming from a guy who has played with LeBron James (who is often hailed as one of the best players in basketball history), the comment is also hugely controversial.

Contrary to the beliefs of some, LeBron has been historically great in the clutch, holding the record for most game-winning buzzer-beaters with a total of seven.

So, did Kyrie really not trust LeBron with the basketball in late-game situations, or is he just hyping up his new partner?

Either way, it’s a shot towards Bron, who is the major reason why Kyrie even has a Championship to his name in the first place.

James hasn’t responded yet, and there’s no reason to think he will. He’s on his way to his fourth title while Kyrie still has to figure things out with his new teammate in Brooklyn. They will be quite the spectacle next season.
