LaVar Ball Says LaMelo Ball Would Beat Stephen Curry 1-On-1: "Steph Is Too Little, He’s Only Like 6’3″ Or 6’2″."

It's not like he never stopped but LaVar Ball is ready to make bold claims regarding his sons and their future in the NBA. LaMelo Ball, his younger kid, was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the 3rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft and that fueled LaVar to make more daring comments about the young guard.

He recently appeared on an AMA session with Bleacher Report, where he made a very bold claim about who will win between his son LaMelo and 3x NBA champion Stephen Curry. When asked who will win between Steph and Melo in a one-on-one game, Ball made it clear: LaMelo.

“Stop it, LaMelo,” LaVar Ball said. “Steph is too little, he’s only like 6’3″ or 6’2″. LaMelo is taller than him and longer than him.”

Well, as we all know, height is not everything in basketball and even though Melo is taller than Curry, Steph's arsenal and his experience give him an advantage over the Charlotte Hornets rookie. It's good that LaVar is always hyping his sons and even himself, but Melo still has things to learn before he can challenge Curry, one of the greatest shooters of all time and the best point guard in the league right now.

Melo is yet to play his first regular-season NBA game with the Hornets and Steph already demonstrated he's that dangerous player he's always been. It'll be interesting what will happen when they clash for the first time in the association.
