Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the league as of right now, and he is one of the elite offensive superstars in the league today. There is no doubt that he often dazzles the crowd with his performances, and that was once again the case today.

Recently, Luka Doncic put up 60 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists against the New York Knicks. There is no doubt that this was a historic performance from him, which left a lot of fans in awe.

After the game, Luka Doncic was asked about his performance. He had a funny response to his fantastic night, claiming that he was extremely tired, and adding that he needs a “recovery beer”.

"I'm tired as hell. I need a recovery beer."

I’m tired as hell. I need a recovery beer.

It is good to see that Luka Doncic was able to lead the Dallas Mavericks to another win, especially because we got to witness greatness in the process. Hopefully, we see the Dallas Mavericks continue winning, and it is quite likely we’ll see more insane performances from Luka Doncic as the team tries to make the playoffs.

The Dallas Mavericks Are One Of The Favorites To Land Trae Young

Watching Luka Doncic’s elite performances is nice, but he cannot keep up this output every game. He needs a star to help him. Perhaps adding Trae Young is the answer. Though Trae Young is clearly a player that is in a solid position with the Atlanta Hawks, it was reported that he could potentially request a trade in the future. As of right now, the Dallas Mavericks are the favorites to land him.

When surveying the NBA landscape for potential trade opportunities, the idea of Atlanta Hawks star point guard Trae Young becoming available has us intrigued. The Mavs drafted Young in the 2018 NBA Draft before trading him to the Hawks for Luka Doncic. What if they traded for Young this time to create a star-studded backcourt with Doncic in Dallas?

As crazy as it may seem, oddsmakers agree with us that this is a possibility to keep an eye on going forward. According to SportsBetting.ag, the Mavs have the top odds of being Young’s next team at +250. The Miami Heat are second at +350, and the Boston Celtics are third at +400.

There is no doubt that a Luka Doncic-Trae Young backcourt would be elite offensively, and the two could potentially become the best offensive duo in the league. Though their defense would obviously be an issue, the offensive firepower is absolutely worth it.

It remains to be seen if the Dallas Mavericks do end up trading for Trae Young, or whether they will make a different deal in the future. They have a number of options, and we’ll see what they do during this upcoming trade deadline.
