Manu Ginobili is well-known for being a part of the Spurs dynasty, and there’s no doubt that the shot-creating guard was key for the team as a supporting piece next to Tim Duncan. He is widely considered to be one of the best sixth men of all time, and Ginobili notably made two All-Star teams during his career.

During his career, Manu Ginobili has been part of continued success with the San Antonio Spurs. Reddit User cheese_maniac has recently revealed that Manu Ginobili is the winningest player in NBA history, with a career win percentage of 72.1%, among players who have played at least 1000 games.

There is no doubt that this is a fantastic statistic to have on one’s resume. Manu Ginobili was a fantastic player on top of being on a good team. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and that is absolutely well-deserved. When asked about the induction, Manu Ginobili claimed that it wasn’t an “individual achievement”, and added that he was in the position to be a Hall of Famer because of his “surroundings”.

“I never won a scoring championship, an MVP, even First Team. I’m here because of my surroundings. The players I played with, the coaches, and the organization. I don’t take it as an individual achievement. I’ve been in the right place at the right time.”

A lot of San Antonio Spurs fans appreciate Manu Ginobili, but among other fanbases, he might be a little underrated. He inspired stars such as James Harden with his playstyle and has lessened the negative connotation that comes with being the sixth man for the betterment of the team.

Perhaps one day, there will be a player who ends up having a higher-winning percentage than Manu Ginobili. However, as of right now, it seems as though Manu Ginobili is the most winning player of all-time, at least by the numbers.
