NBA Fan Debunks The Theory That Draymond Green Threw Shoes To Klay Thompson And A Pass To Donte DiVincenzo At The Same Time

Draymond Green has been credited as the primary playmaker on the Golden State Warriors for years now, as Stephen Curry has always been recognized for his scoring ability as compared to his playmaking. Green is an effortless ball distributor that uses high IQ to find open pockets of space for his teammates.

Even though Green is a good passer, he isn’t elite at the level of Luka Doncic or Nikola Jokic with his passing. As a result, fans were confused when a clip of Green seemingly passing Klay Thompson his untied shoe and Donte DiVincenzo the ball mid-play went viral.

Fans have since debunked the passes being made by Green. He did make the play to DiVincenzo on the court, but Thompson received his shoe from Jonathan Kuminga on the bench,

This was a funny moment and even funnier, considering fans thought Green executed that as perfectly as it took place.

The Warriors Need To Climb Up The Standings

The Golden State Warriors were among the team expected to win the championship heading into the season. They are the defending champions with a young and promising core that had another year of experience under their belt. However, it hasn’t worked out, as the Warriors losing veteran depth seems to have handicapped their bench. Stephen Curry is still one of the best, and the team needs to capitalize on that.

Golden State has proven they’re still among the best teams in the league when motivated but currently sit as the 8th seed with a 25-24 record in an extremely competitive West. Hopefully, they can start to pull away from the middle of the pack or be fighting a very challenging playoff battle until the end of the season.
