LeBron James may have just ended an abysmal season in Los Angeles, but he’s not letting it get in the way of a good time.

On social media, footage surfaced of him partying it out on a beach in the Maldives, living his best life in paradise as the NBA playoffs rage on.

Since the vids have gone viral, many fans have been quick to troll and mock James for being in flip flops instead of competing for a Championship. Truth be told, it rubs many people the wrong way.

LeBron and the Lakers have a lot of work ahead of them. After finishing 11th in the West, many roster changes need to be made and it won’t be easy to fix all the issues plaguing the team.

But James deserves this rest. After 18 seasons in the NBA, almost two decades of greatness, LeBron has nothing left to prove. He’s done it all, seen it all, and has accomplished more in his career than entire teams have.

This past season, despite being in his late 30s, Bron didn’t lose a step. In 56 games, he averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game on 52% shooting.

And as he watches the chase for a title play out from his couch, he vows to never miss the playoffs again.

Recently, LeBron James has taken to Twitter to declare that this season is the last time he will end up missing the playoffs. He claimed that it “hurt” to miss out on the postseason.

I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career! This shit HURT. Ok back to watching these games.

LeBron James is really enjoying himself on this early vacation. He’s dancing, vibing, and letting his body rest after a long and difficult season.

It could be exactly what he needs to come back next season stronger and better than ever.

Hopefully, James seizes the opportunity to really enjoy himself before going back to work.
