Before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers were touted as one of the top contenders to win the NBA title this season. The reason behind that was the return of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to the roster.

Moreover, the addition of John Wall to the roster only further gave a boost to the narrative about the Clippers being one of the top teams this season. Unfortunately, after more than half of the season being played, the Los Angeles Clippers have simply failed to reach that level.

Although one NBA insider believes the ‘sleeping giant’ is about to wake up soon, the giant is certainly fast asleep as of now.

Los Angeles Clippers Once Again Get Roasted By Fans

Following their defeat against the Atlanta Hawks, the Los Angeles Clippers have fallen to a 21-21 record and are currently in the seventh spot in the Western Conference. The fanbase of the franchise has definitely gotten even more impatient since the team’s embarrassing defeat against the Denver Nuggets.

The Clippers have now lost six straight games… 😳

The six-game losing streak couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard may be having a somewhat dominant stretch in the past few games, his numbers aren’t turning into wins for the organization. Keeping that in mind, here’s what fans think of the Clippers right now:

They must blow this team up completely. I can’t imagine the owner and coaching staff can handle Kawhi playing every other home game only and PG being a part time player. This was one of the biggest failures going all in on superstars of all time

That is one of the most overrated duos of all time. You sure showed Lebron, why you didn’t wanna come to the Lakers!! 😂.

They sold the bag. Kawhi isn’t good anymore, PG was always hit or miss, and it’s the cartoon of the league.

The clippers downfall began literally their first second as a franchise.

The fans of the Clippers have been nothing but patient with the duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. But if the duo fails to lead the franchise to a good run in the postseason, things will certainly go past the boiling point for the fans.

Moreover, the Clippers are all set to have one of the toughest schedules in the league over the next few weeks. If they cannot find a way to snap out of this losing streak and get consistent, they may even fall out of the playoff spot.
