The Los Angeles Lakers are a team that has had a slow start to the season, but it seems as though they are turning things around slowly but surely. They have recently defeated the Detroit Pistons, which stopped a 3-game losing streak.

A lot of fans reacted to the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Detroit Pistons, with many of them praising the team for their performance. There is no doubt that they are a team that needs every win they can get as of right now due to the rut that they created for themselves with their poor play earlier in the season. If they are to be a playoff team, this is the sort of game where the Lakers needed to take care of business.

The Los Angeles Lakers Are Interested In DeMar DeRozan And Nikola Vucevic

The Los Angeles Lakers do have some ability to make trades this year, and it seems as though they have some targets in mind. Recently, it was revealed that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in acquiring Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan.

According to NBA sources, the Lakers are interested in both Vučević and DeRozan. If L.A. is willing to give up two first-round picks (2027 and 2029) along with Russell Westbrook as a buy-out candidate, the Bulls may end up in a better lottery position to retain their pick in June. This is the draft to do it.

There is no doubt that both Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan could help the Los Angeles Lakers. They are experienced veterans that could play roles around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Lakers also have other trade options as well, and they have been linked with Kyle Kuzma recently.

Of course, the Los Angeles Lakers could still be a competitive team without any moves. However, it makes sense to make a move and maximize LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
