With their victory on Monday night, the New York Knicks solidified a winning record for the first time in over 7 years.

9-1 in their last 10, the Knicks are boasting an impressive 37-28 tally, and stand 4th in the Eastern Conference.

With their ticket to the playoffs now booker, their success has the entire NBA community talking…

The Knicks have clinched a winning record — the first time since 2013.

NEW YORK, STAND UP.

Perhaps best of all was the reaction from ESPN NBA Insider, and Knicks superfan, Stephen A. Smith.

"GO NEW YORK, GO NEW YORK GO!"

It’s obviously a great day for Knicks fans, and NBA fans as a whole. As one of the biggest markets in basketball, the Knicks have always been a staple for the NBA, attracting audiences and earning worldwide fame.

On the court, though, their performance has been lackluster, at best, and they have been the laughing stock of the league for quite some time.

With the team finally winning, and seemingly back on the right track, it could mean the Knicks could be a threat for years to come. And, simply put, basketball is better when the Knicks are succeeding.

To see them doing so well after all this time is really awesome. Hopefully, they can continue the upward trend and build upon what they’ve assembled this season.
