NBA Twitter Reacts To OG Anunoby’s Game-Winning Buzzer Beater In Game 3

2 Min Read

In an 0-2 hole entering Game 3, it was pretty much do-or-die for the Toronto Raptors tonight. After winning the NBA title just a year ago, the Raps did an amazing job putting themselves in a position to win the title again.

Unfortunately, the absence of Kawhi Leonard is being felt in these playoffs, and it is becoming clear just how much harder things are for them without an MVP-caliber player on the roster.

After a back and forth game, the Raptors looked defeated. On the final play of the game, they had .5 seconds left to overcome a 2-point deficit — and then OG Anunoby saved the day.

Sinking the three at the buzzer, Anunoby just barely got it off in time to sink the Celtics for the first time since the entire 2019-20 postseason began.

Reactions from Twitter were about what you’d expect…

Obviously it’s an amazing shot and amazing moment for the Raptors, but they’ve still got their work cut out for them if they are going to win this series.

The next match is on Saturday, where Toronto will have to fend off Boston for the second time in a row if they want to tie things up at 2-2.
