The New Orleans Pelicans have one of the most entertaining Twitter accounts in the NBA. The franchise has become famous for its trolling on social media, especially the ones aimed at the teams in Los Angeles.

After taking the Lakers out of the play-in tournament and then doing the same with the Clippers, they sent a big message on Twitter, celebrating that they shut down parties in Los Angeles after their magical season.

Things haven’t changed for the Pelicans this offseason, and recently, one Lakers fan received a huge burn from the team after trying to make fun of their Twitter header.

“[The Pelicans’] profile pic is a selfie of their players take notes,” one user wrote on Twitter.

This didn’t sit well with the Pelicans’ Twitter account and they sent a big response, destroying Russell Westbrook and LeBron James for their awkward moment during a Summer League game.

“yes our players enjoy sitting next to each other rather than on opposite ends of the court,” they savagely replied.

In case you don’t know what they’re talking about, a couple of days ago, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook attended a Lakers game and sat on complete opposite sides of the court, setting the alarms within the Purple and Gold.

A lot was said about this situation, which sparked more rumors about the Lakers trading Russell Westbrook this offseason. Many people think Russ will be exchanged for Kyrie Irving, but it’s still unclear if the Brooklyn Nets will agree to that offer.

The Pelicans know what’s going on around the league and they are taking everything they can in their favor. They are professional trolls right now and won’t hesitate to call out people trying to trash them.
