Richard Jefferson Criticizes Devin Booker For Rewarding Phoenix Suns Fan Involved In A Fight With Nuggets Fans

3 Min Read

Devin Booker has demonstrated he is unstoppable both on and off the court. Not only he’s leading the Phoenix Suns to have a terrific playoffs run, waiting for their rival in the Western Conference Finals but he is living his best life with supermodel Kendall Jenner. Moreover, he’s and roasting people on social media.

After one Suns fan beat two Denver Nuggets supporters during the second round of the playoffs, the shooting guard started looking for this person, trying to contact them at any cost

We already knew he found their social media, dropping some good comments under their post. Book didn’t stop there and sent a jersey to this fan and tickets for a Conference Finals game.

Booker, the Phoenix Suns’ All-Star guard, tweeted Monday that he wanted to know the identity of the Suns fan who was recorded punching a Denver Nuggets fan several times in the closing minutes of the Suns’ Game 3 win in Denver on Friday — and then declaring “Suns in 4!” as the Denver supporter and his friend retreated.

It didn’t take long for Booker’s representatives at CAA to find Nick McKellar, a lifelong Suns fan who now lives in Denver. Booker and the Suns are going to send McKellar a signed Booker jersey and provide him tickets to a conference finals game, both Booker’s reps at CAA and McKellar told ESPN.

Former NBA player-turned-analyst Richard Jefferson reacted to this, claiming this would set a bad example for the rest of the fans. We’ve seen people disrespecting rivals in arenas since the first round and this could encourage more people to act like fools.

Rewarding a fan for fighting isn’t the best idea for Jefferson, but Book couldn’t care less about that, instantly replying to the 2016 NBA champion with a sarcastic comment.

Seeing how hot this man is on and off the court, you don’t want to mess with him. Book just awarded this man for standing up for himself even when he was surrounded by plenty of Nuggets fans.

Nobody should go through this situation ever. Getting heckled is anything but nice, and the Suns’ star just wanted to something good for this man. There’s nothing wrong with that.
