Steph Curry Says His Carer Would Not Be The Same Without Klay Thompson

2 Min Read

When Steph Curry first emerged as an NBA superstar, the Warriors considered themselves lucky to have just one perimeter-shooting phenomenon. So what about two?

Part of the reason the Warriors have been so lethal over the years, among other things, is the insane shooting ability of their backcourt duo. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are the two best long-distance snipers in the game, and they have quite literally changed the course of NBA history.

According to Steph, his career would not have been the same without his backcourt partner:

“No, not a chance. Situation is everything. You draft a guy like Klay from Washington State with so much potential… us being able to develop together with Draymond, Shaun, Andre & the guys that have been there since day 1, it’s truly special.”

Together, Steph and Klay have won 3 NBA Championships, won 73 games in a single season, and helped turn the Warriors into one of the most lucrative franchises in the league.

The two being able to grow, learn, and develop together was enormous for their chemistry as teammates.

And although they both are doomed to spend the rest of this season on the sidelines, they’ll be back to torching the league soon enough.
