The Proof That Kristaps Porzingis And Luka Doncic’s Chemistry Is Not Good On The Court

2 Min Read

Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis have struggled to find their touch sharing the court. The Dallas Mavericks assembled this duo to compete in the Finals, but things haven’t clicked for them so far.

After the Mavs succumbed to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 2021 playoffs, several questions were raised around the organization and their dynamic duo. This offseason can present plenty of changes for Dallas if they decide to end this partnership.

Porzingis is reportedly unhappy with Luka’s domination of the ball in every Dallas offense. Even though Doncic claimed they need to use KP more, there’s nothing that says they can improve this situation.

In fact, their chemistry is non-existent on the court. Redditor “BenSimmonsToTheMoon” found a video showing how bad Doncic and Porzingis’ chemistry is on the court.

You can see Luka ignoring KP after a screen, always going for the personal play instead of looking for his teammate.

The ‘Unicorn’ was heavily criticized throughout the Clippers series for not posting good numbers. Even Shaquille O’Neal blasted after the team was eliminated, mocking Porzingis in a edited fishing pic.

This is something the Mavericks need to fix in the offseason. While Luka is set to sign a huge contract extension, Porzingis could be dealt to a different franchise. Time will tell how this situation ends, but the Mavs have several questions to answer if they want to compete.
