Clippers coach Tyronn Lue is a well-respected individual in NBA circles. He is a fantastic coach that can get a lot out of various players, and he has notably won a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

Before he was a coach though, Tyronn Lue was also a solid role player, who has also been on some championship-winning teams. As such, he has had a lot of interactions with all-time greats.

On the recent episode of the Knuckleheads podcast, Tyronn Lue was asked about which 4 players he'd up alongside himself to create an elite starting lineup. Lue picked 4 players that he either played with or coached: Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. Lue quipped that he wouldn't have to do much offensively with this squad. Shaq, LeBron, Jordan, Kobe. Just showing up. I ain't gotta do nothing.

During his playing days, Tyronn Lue was a capable shooter and playmaker whose low-usage playstyle helped him fit in around star-level players. There's no doubt that he'd thrive if not being forced to score, and his playmaking could definitely benefit all the star-level players that he mentioned. At the end of the day though, any hypothetical team featuring 4 top-10 players of all time is bound to be a fantastic squad.

There is no doubt that Tyronn Lue's coaching has been beneficial for the Los Angeles Clippers this season. He has helped them to multiple comebacks this year, with Kawhi Leonard even calling him up to congratulate him after the Clippers' 35 point comeback against the Washington Wizards.

The Los Angeles Clippers could potentially be a great playoff team if they get out of the play-in tournament and get Kawhi Leonard back on the roster. Tyronn Lue's coaching will be key to them being able to make a deep postseason run, and he'll definitely put his players in the best positions for success.
