Stephen Curry has just led the Golden State Warriors to their fourth championship during his tenure, and there’s no doubt that he is continuing to solidify his status as an all-time great. Many people believe that he is a top-10 player of all-time with this championship win, and it’s getting hard for even the worst detractors to deny his greatness.

In basketball, the term “GOAT” gets used a lot, and many people believe that Stephen Curry is one of the “GOATs”, with some even suggesting that he’s the greatest point guard ever. Recently, a fan brought an actual goat that was wearing Stephen Curry’s jersey to their championship parade. Stephen Curry ended up stopping the Warriors’ bus to take a photo with the fan and his goat.

Michael Jordan and LeBron James are the two players that are most commonly mentioned in the GOAT debate, and even with this championship, there’s a lot of accolades separating Stephen Curry from those two players. With that being said, Stephen Curry is one of the greatest players of all-time, and perhaps he can reach a similar status to the other two in the future if he wins more championships.

The Golden State Warriors won this year behind Stephen Curry’s offensive performances, and they are set up to compete in the future as well, even as Stephen Curry ages. They have a lot of young talent that is waiting for their chance to shine, such as James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga.

There is a solid chance that the Warriors end up repeating and winning another championship next season, even with the Western Conference getting tougher. It remains to be seen if that does happen, but if Stephen Curry gets another championship and another Finals MVP, then he will definitely force people to alter their top-10 all-time lists.
