It wasn’t just LeBron James and the other Los Angeles Lakers who were beyond frustrated with the controversial refereeing during the marquee clash against the Boston Celtics.

NBA players, present and former, cried foul at the officiating and made their displeasure vocal on social media after it cost the Lakers a hard-earned win. In a game that went down the wire, the Celtics notched up a 125-121 overtime win at the TD Garden.

If it was James and Anthony Davis who blasted the referees, Kyle Kuzma, Ron Harper, and Reggie Miller, to name a few, were livid with the calls.

The Lakers lead 105-102 with 14.1 seconds remaining, g but Jaylen Brown drained one to equalize with 4 seconds left. This meant the Lakers got the last shot, and James barreled to the basket for the potential game-winner but missed it. However, he was furious after the play as he thought he got fouled.

The no-call meant pushing the game to overtime, something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Kyle Kuzma, Reggie Miller, And Ron Harper React To The Poor Officiating

Former Indiana Pacers star Reggie Miller minced no words when he took to Twitter to lambast the referees.

He couldn’t believe his eyes when officials didn’t call the foul, and he made his feelings known.

It was NON CALLS like that as a former player, Tatum on LeBron, that used to drive me CRAZY!! 6 damn eyes out there and the officials swallow their whistles.. That baseline official had a clear view of it, MAKE THE CALL.. @NBA

Next up was Kyle Kuzma. He did see the funny and not-so-funny side of it but made his thoughts clear.

Former Lakers, James Worthy, and Ron Harper were thoroughly flabbergasted by the no-foul call.

James Worthy on LeBron getting fouled at the end of regulation:

“That one right there pissed me off. That was one of the worst referee crews that I seen officiating a game… That referee crew shouldn't get to call more big games… They should be ashamed, they really should.” pic.twitter.com/BpriPPeeCH

Wow @NBAOfficial wow that call? Casper the ghost showed up….. and a no call on @KingJames last shot. WOW

The loss puts the Lakers 23-27 as they finish their 50 games this season. With 32 contests left in the regular stretch, they will hope to notch up as many wins as they can to make the postseason.

They play the Brooklyn Nets next, followed by the New York Knicks after, and they are praying that the refereeing won’t be as controversial as the one in Boston.
