The Indiana Pacers are a team that is desperately in need of change. They are currently 13th in the Eastern Conference, with a 19-35 record. It is clear that this has been a subpar season for the team.

It was previously rumored that the Indiana Pacers would try to trade some of their veterans to undergo a rebuilding process. It seems as though they have already started to do that, as they have traded Caris LeVert to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Adrian Wojnarowski has recently revealed that the Indiana Pacers are currently in trade talks about Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner while stating that the Caris LeVert trade was likely “the start of a dramatic trade deadline makeover” for the Pacers. Both big men are valuable pieces that could help other teams.

This is likely the start of a dramatic trade deadline makeover for the Indiana roster. Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are among key players who remain in trade talks.

Domantas Sabonis is an elite rebounder and playmaker, while Myles Turner is one of the best rim protectors in the league. There have been previous reports that have linked both of those players with other teams. The Washington Wizards reportedly want to pair Domantas Sabonis with Bradley Beal, and Myles Turner has been linked with a variety of teams including the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers. It remains to be seen which offers the Pacers find suitable for their big men.

Hopefully, we see Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner in destinations where they’ll thrive. There’s no question that both Sabonis and Turner could be difference-making players in the right environment. While obviously, it is still possible that the Pacers end up retaining them, it definitely seems likely that both players will get moved prior to the trade deadline.
