NBA Rumors: Lakers Have Made Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell And Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Available In Trade Talks

1 Min Read

Without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers are going to have a challenging path ahead of them.

Having to lean on the supporting cast to carry the load and keep the team afloat is a big ask, especially in the loaded Western Conference.

But Lakers President and GM Rob Pelinka has a plan, that could involve trading one or three rotational pieces for an extra kick this season. According to Beacher Report’s Jake Fisher, Trez, KCP, and Dennis Schroder have all been involved in trade talks over the past few days.

Obviously, this puts the Purple and Gold in prime position to acquire that third star, whether it’s LaMarcus Aldridge, Andre Drummond, Aaron Gordon, or Kyle Lowry. Having a player of that caliber in the lineup now (and going forward) will surely help improve L.A.’s situation.

Of course, the only real way the team has a chance is if both of their stars come back healthy. Without LeBron and Davis together, this Lakers team doesn’t really stand a chance.

Still, it won’t stop Rob Pelinka from doing whatever he feels is necessary.
