OG Anunoby is one of the best two-way wings in the league, and there’s no doubt that he has been a valuable player for the Toronto Raptors. He consistently guards the best opposing perimeter player and provides supplementary offense, and he would be a good fit around any superstar. Currently, OG Anunoby is averaging 18.7 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 2.1 APG.

The Toronto Raptors are not a good team this season, and perhaps they could elect to start a rebuild. OG Anunoby could be one of the pieces to get moved, and a recent report from Ian Begley of SNY revealed that one member of the Knicks has already reached out to the Raptors about potentially trading for the forward.

Before this most recent winning streak, someone from the club reached out to the Toronto Raptors to ask about trading for OG Anunoby. That’s a trade that would come at a significant cost — it’s not a move you make unless you know you have to shake up your roster.

Obviously, the most recent winning streak from the New York Knicks could change things. However, OG Anunoby would certainly be a good addition to the team, and we’ll see if the New York Knicks re-open those discussions in the future.

The New York Knicks Have Also Been Linked With Kyle Kuzma

The New York Knicks pursuing OG Anunoby shows that they are prioritizing getting a two-way forward to add to their current core. Recently, they have also been linked with Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards.

Another team to keep a close eye on with Kuzma is the New York Knicks. Kuzma is represented by Austin Brown of CAA, who worked closely with colleague Leon Rose before Rose left the agency to join the Knicks as president. New York has several CAA clients, including Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, Isaiah Hartenstein and Obi Toppin.

Kyle Kuzma would definitely be a fantastic addition to the New York Knicks, and he would make their offense more consistent. His defense and rebounding would also endear him to coach Tom Thibodeau as well.

It remains to be seen where Kyle Kuzma will end up, though, as he has also been mentioned in connection to the Sacramento Kings. Hopefully, though, the New York Knicks manage to get him, as he is a solid player that can contribute to what they’re doing as a squad.
