NBA Rumors: New York Knicks Could Trade For Myles Turner

2 Min Read

The New York Knicks have had a complex 2021/22 NBA season full of changes, where even Kemba Walker was benched for a brief period before he returned to the lineup and took the world by storm.

Now, they are looking to fix another issue on their roster. The New Yorkers might be looking to make an upgrade at their center position, and an Eastern Conference rival could be the answer to their problems.

A couple of weeks ago, reports suggested the Indiana Pacers are willing to trade Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert and Myles Turner. The two big men have received interest around the league and Turner appears to be the most sought-after baller. According to SNY’s Ian Begley, Myles could find his way to New York if the Knickerbockers and the Pacers find common ground.

“I look at somebody like Myles Turner as a possibility for this club because he can be had, acquired, for something that is short of a crazy package that you would have to put together for a superstar,” he said. “Maybe there is a middle ground that can be met between the Knicks and Pacers and Myles Turner. We know that there are decision-makers with the Knicks who see Turner as someone worth pursuing.”

Mitchell Robinson and Nerlens Noel haven’t been as consistent as desired and the team must look to ways to improve in that regard. Turner has been linked with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. Now the Knicks are signing their names on the list of sweepstakes for Turner, who can bring several valuable things to Madison Square Garden.

Myles will be a name we’ll see in many trade rumors, and the Pacers will try to get the maximum advantage of that. Time will tell how this situation unfolds, but it seems like Turner won’t miss suitors.
