The Orlando Magic are currently a rebuilding team, which has an elite young core. They have a number of exciting players such as Paolo Banchero, Bol Bol, and Franz Wagner, and it is clear that they have a bright future.

A recent report by Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report revealed that the Orlando Magic could trade some of their veterans ahead of the trade deadline this year. The names mentioned were Gary Harris, Terrence Ross, and Mo Bamba.

Some are obvious if you look at the bottom of the standings. Among the league’s worst teams, league sources believe the Detroit Pistons may be open to trading shooter Bojan Bogdanović, the Orlando Magic are expected to shop Gary Harris, Terrence Ross and Mo Bamba, and the San Antonio Spurs (Jakob Poeltl, Josh Richardson and Doug McDermott) and the Houston Rockets (Eric Gordon) may part with veterans.

There is no doubt that all three of these players could potentially help out contending teams. Gary Harris is a solid 3 and D player, Terrence Ross is a bench scorer, and Mo Bamba is a center with shooting ability.

It remains to be seen which teams will end up acquiring these veterans from the Orlando Magic. Obviously, all of these players are solid role players, but whether they are moved likely depends on what the opposing team is offering to the Orlando Magic.

The Los Angeles Lakers Have Been Linked With Terrence Ross In The Past

The Los Angeles Lakers are a team that has frequently been active on the trade market over the last few seasons. Previously, they were linked with Terrence Ross, and perhaps they could explore acquiring him once again.

“A more realistic target, sources said, would be Orlando’s Terrence Ross. To get him, the Lakers would need to include Horton-Tucker and maybe that first-round pick and be willing to take on a player who has seen his efficiency diminish over the last three seasons, never a good sign for the kind of shooter Ross is purported to be.”

Obviously, Terrence Ross could help the Los Angeles Lakers right now. They still have their first-round pick, and perhaps Patrick Beverley’s contract could be included in a trade for Ross. It was previously reported that Terrence Ross wants a trade from the Orlando Magic, and we’ll see if he ends up on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers figure out a way to get Terrence Ross on their roster. However, they also have other trade options available, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
