The Los Angeles Lakers are a team that went 33-49 this past season, and it is clear that they need to make some changes to their roster if they are to be a competitive team next season.

The main trade target for the Los Angeles Lakers this summer was Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving. There is no doubt that both Patrick Beverley and Bojan Bogdanovic could be useful players for the Los Angeles Lakers. Patrick Beverley would fit Darvin Ham's defense-first philosophy, while Bojan Bogdanovic would provide supplementary scoring and floor spacing next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers find a way to improve, whether it is with this trade or otherwise. They still have the elite star power needed to win a championship, and with the right roster, they could definitely make some noise next season.
