Ochai Agbaji’s go-ahead basket with 1:33 remaining capped a furious fourth-quarter rally as the Toronto Raptors edged the Golden State Warriors 104-101 on Monday night. Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 23 points, while Jakob Poeltl posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Chris Boucher was instrumental in the comeback, scoring 17 of his 18 points in the final quarter, and RJ Barrett added 15 points. Agbaji and Gradey Dick contributed 12 points each as Toronto secured just its second win in 18 games.

The Warriors, led by Stephen Curry’s 26 points and Andrew Wiggins’ 20, appeared in control after Lindy Waters III’s 3-pointer gave them an 86-77 lead with 9:27 left. However, the Raptors outscored Golden State 27-15 down the stretch, capitalizing on key defensive stops and timely baskets. Buddy Hield, who had been a bright spot in previous games, struggled mightily, shooting just 3-for-13 and finishing with eight points.

In the final moments, Curry missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with 45 seconds left, and Boucher grabbed the rebound, setting up Agbaji’s fast-break dunk to seal the victory. Toronto shot selectively from beyond the arc in the second half, going 3-for-6 after a 9-for-23 performance in the first.

Playing without Draymond Green for the second straight game, the Warriors dropped their second consecutive contest and fourth in five games. After a heartbreaker, let’s grade each Warriors player.

Stephen Curry: B+

Stats: 26 PTS, 7 REB (1 OREB, 6 DREB), 7 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 4 TO, 2 PF, 9-17 FG, 4-10 3PT, 4-4 FT, 0, 35 MIN

Curry led the Warriors in scoring with 26 points on an efficient 9-of-17 shooting, adding 7 rebounds and 7 assists. He hit 4-of-10 from beyond the arc and was perfect from the free-throw line. However, his 4 turnovers and missed potential go-ahead three-pointer in the final minute slightly dampened his otherwise strong performance.

Andrew Wiggins: B

Stats: 20 PTS, 3 REB (1 OREB, 2 DREB), 1 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 2 TO, 2 PF, 6-13 FG, 4-9 3PT, 4-6 FT, +4, 35 MIN

Wiggins contributed 20 points while shooting 6-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range. He was active on both ends, adding a steal and a solid +4 plus-minus. While his scoring was crucial, his 3 rebounds and lack of impact in the fourth quarter left room for improvement.

Kyle Anderson: C+

Stats: 13 PTS, 2 REB (0 OREB, 2 DREB), 2 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 1 PF, 4-5 FG, 2-2 3PT, 3-3 FT, -1, 18 MIN

Anderson made the most of his 18 minutes, scoring 13 points on near-perfect shooting (4-of-5 FG, 2-of-2 3PT, 3-of-3 FT). Despite his efficient scoring, his limited rebounding (2) and playmaking (2 assists) reduced his overall impact.

Dennis Schroder: C+

Stats: 12 PTS, 3 REB (1 OREB, 2 DREB), 4 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 2 TO, 1 PF, 5-12 FG, 2-6 3PT, 0-0 FT, +6, 24 MIN

Schroder tallied 12 points and 4 assists in 24 minutes, shooting 5-of-12 from the field and 2-of-6 from deep. While his play was steady, he committed 2 turnovers and struggled defensively against the Raptors’ fourth-quarter surge.

Kevon Looney: C+

Stats: 10 PTS, 9 REB (4 OREB, 5 DREB), 1 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 2 PF, 5-9 FG, 0-0 3PT, 0-0 FT, -8, 18 MIN

Looney flirted with a double-double, recording 10 points and 9 rebounds (4 offensive). He shot 5-of-9 from the field but struggled to protect the rim against the Raptors’ late-game attack. His -8 plus-minus highlighted his defensive struggles in key moments.

Lindy Waters III: C+

Stats: 8 PTS, 9 REB (1 OREB, 8 DREB), 0 AST, 0 STL, 1 BLK, 1 TO, 0 PF, 2-6 FG, 2-4 3PT, 2-3 FT, -9, 22 MIN

Waters had 8 points and a team-high 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. He hit 2-of-4 from three-point range but was otherwise quiet offensively. His -9 plus-minus and minimal defensive contributions highlighted his limited impact.

Buddy Hield: C

Stats: 8 PTS, 2 REB (0 OREB, 2 DREB), 3 AST, 4 STL, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 1 PF, 3-13 FG, 2-10 3PT, 0-0 FT, +6, 33 MIN

Hield had a tough night, scoring just 8 points on 3-of-13 shooting, including 2-of-10 from three. While he added 4 steals and 3 assists, his inefficiency from the field hurt the Warriors, especially in the fourth quarter when they needed scoring.

Trayce Jackson-Davis: C

Stats: 3 PTS, 6 REB (3 OREB, 3 DREB), 3 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK, 3 TO, 2 PF, 1-4 FG, 0-0 3PT, 1-4 FT, +6, 30 MIN

Jackson-Davis contributed 3 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in 30 minutes. While he provided solid energy on the boards, his 1-of-4 shooting and 3 turnovers were detrimental. He struggled to finish plays and make an impact offensively.

Gui Santos: C

Stats: 0 PTS, 3 REB (3 OREB, 0 DREB), 2 AST, 0 STL, 1 BLK, 0 TO, 3 PF, 0-3 FG, 0-2 3PT, 0-0 FT, -9, 12 MIN

Santos failed to score in 12 minutes, going 0-of-3 from the field. He contributed 3 offensive rebounds and 2 assists but struggled to make a meaningful impact on either end of the floor.

Moses Moody: C-

Stats: 1 PTS, 2 REB (0 OREB, 2 DREB), 0 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 0 TO, 0 PF, 0-6 FG, 0-3 3PT, 1-2 FT, -10, 14 MIN

Moody endured a rough outing, scoring just 1 point on 0-of-6 shooting, including 0-of-3 from beyond the arc. While he added 2 rebounds, a steal, and a block, his offensive inefficiency and -10 plus-minus were glaring issues.
