LeBron James‘ feet were briefly a topic of discussion on Netflix’s newest docuseries ‘Starting 5’. His children, namely Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri James, joked about how strange their father’s feet look after years of wear and tear, with Zhuri specifically, commenting on the nature of his toes sticking on top of each other.

Bronny James: “No comment. Everyone has seen his feet. You don’t need to know more about that.”

Zhuri James: “The funny, funny thing is when his toe is on top of the other one!”

It was a hilarious, yet heartwarming moment to see the three young children of James poking fun at him, while the show inter-spliced it with footage of James himself talking about the nature of his feet, comparing it to a Porsche 911. This documentary gave several key insights into James’ personal and professional career.

In the show, we saw James get upset with the Lakers’ coaching staff after they forced him to come out of the game due to a minute’s restrictions. Despite being 38 years old at the time, James wanted to play the whole game. There was clearly frustration on James’ end about playing with a minutes restriction under Darvin Ham.

The show also chronicled the terrifying situation with Bronny James last year, as Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during a USC practice. LeBron was obviously thankful and praised god that his son didn’t suffer from any major medical ramifications after the incident.

Taking that into consideration, it is wild to think that a year later, we get to see LeBron James share the court with Bronny, as the two played together in the Lakers’ game against the Suns this past Sunday. The two will definitely have at least a few more opportunities to play together as the Lakers season goes on.

Time Running Out For LeBron James

There is no denying LeBron James is nearing the end of his career rapidly. He turns 40 this season and is no longer the player he was during his prime. Despite this, he is still one of the best players in the league and puts on great performances whenever on the court. For James, his decision to walk away from the game will depend on a few different factors.

James recently noted that he feels like he has nothing left to prove or accomplish in the league. And in a sense, that is true. James has almost won every possible major accolade in the NBA, outside of Defensive Player of the Year. But while James has nothing left to prove, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to add to his resume.

A fifth championship for James before he ends his career could very well be the goal. And while the Lakers are not expected to compete for the title this year, with ESPN giving them a 1.5% chance to win the championship, LeBron James can never be ruled out from a title race.

Perhaps JJ Redick can get the best out of this current crop of players, and help LeBron James compete for that coveted fifth NBA championship this season.
