LeBron James is always one of his sons’ biggest hype-builders. No one can build hype around their sons as well as he does, outside of LaVar Ball. This time again, James saw an opportunity to show the world how proud he is of Bryce James, who is putting in the time at the gym.

“Was watching my boy on FT during his media day session and damn he’s getting jacked!! Keep going up, twin!!” the Lakers superstar said via his Instagram story.

The 18-year-old shooting guard has committed to the Arizona Wildcats for the 2025-26 season. He is reported to be 6 feet 6 inches tall and weigh around 195 pounds. And since he’s still so young, he’ll possibly grow further, which could bode well if he decides to walk in the shoes of his father and elder brother, Bronny James.

During his high school career at Sierra Canyon, the Wildcats’ freshman averaged eight points and four rebounds per game. He also played during last year’s Nike EYBL summer circuit, where he averaged 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds over 14 games, shooting around 36% from the three-point line.

He did have a game where he caught everybody’s attention, going off for 16 points in 17 minutes off the bench, along with five rebounds and four steals.

Last month, during a press appearance for his new team, Bryce James revealed the advice his father gave him before his debut for the Arizona Wildcats.

“Just working hard and coming in here and doing what you do best, and making sure that even if you’re not having good days, just always have this ‘stay positive’ mentality. Maybe if you miss a shot or you get turned over sometimes, don’t hang your head down; always keep your head up. Just push through, stay positive.” Bryce James told reporters last month.

The Lakers’ superstar picked up his $52.6 million player option as he readies himself to play his 23rd NBA season. The dominance he’s shown over the game has been unprecedented for this long a tenure. He’s already fulfilled his dream of playing with his elder son, Bronny James. Is the King planning to play with his younger son as well?

NBA Executive Says LeBron James Is Looking To Play With His Younger Son

An NBA executive has recently opined that the Lakers’ superstar is planning behind the scenes to play with his 18-year-old son, Bryce James, before retiring, cementing his legacy as the first father son-duo and the second father-son duo to play in the coveted league.

If Bryce James continues to grow into his frame and becomes a solid wing/shooting guard for the Wildcats, he could see himself getting drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, just like his elder brother.

Even though Bronny James faced harsh criticism for last year’s draft, he still got to play with his father at the biggest stage, and now he’s gone into training and is making sure he’s ready for that stage.
