Nick Young: “I Haven’t Seen The MVP Get Killed By The Real MVP Since Hakeem Killed David Robinson… CP3 The Real MVP.”

Nick Young clearly had an MVP favorite, and it wasn’t Nikola Jokic. The Serbian big man was eliminated from playoffs contention on Sunday night at the hands of the Phoenix Suns, leaving a bad image after a hard foul on Cameron Payne.

Chris Paul and co. took care of business, dominating the Denver Nuggets in four games, becoming the first team in the league to make it to the Conference Finals. CP3 was really dominant, and Young didn’t miss his chance to praise him.

While talking about Paul, Swaggy P dissed Nikola Jokic, calling the Suns’ point guard the real MVP over the Nuggets center.

“I haven’t seen the MVP get killed by the real MVP Since Hakeem killed David Robinson ….. CP3 the Real MVP”

David Robinson won the 2021 MVP award in 1995, leading the San Antonio Spurs to the top seed of the Western Conference. Unfortunately, they would lose to the Hakeem Olajuwon-led Houston Rockets in the Conference Finals, missing their chance to play in the biggest series of all.

Phoenix had no competition during the series. They dominated every game, and not even playing as visitors affected them. This team beat the defending champions in the first round before taking down the 2021 NBA MVP.

Led by Paul and Devin Booker, the Suns have a big chance to win it all this campaign. They are an inspired team with two stars and the right supporting cast and coaching staff. They have nothing to lose and a lot to win. That is what makes them even more dangerous.
