Paul George Drops 32 Points On 67% Shooting As Clippers Beat Nuggets In Game 3

2 Min Read

Nobody knew what to expect from either team in this back-and-forth affair between the Clippers and Nuggets. But, historically, Game 3 really sets the tone for a series tied up at 1 game apiece. So, with their playoff lives potentially on the line, both teams entered tonight’s match ready for war.

In the end, thanks to a 32-point performance by “Playoff P,” the Los Angeles Clippers were able to pull away with the 113-107 win and take the 2-1 series lead. Besides George’s play, an amazing defensive effort by L.A. led to multiple game-saving plays down the stretch and was what helped seal the victory in the end.

For Denver, their failure to close out this game may come back to haunt them. They were outscored 29-19 in the fourth and lost in spite of a huge performance from The Joker, who put up 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists on 54% shooting.

The big story of the night was Paul George, who reminded the doubters why he’s considered a star in this league. If he continues to be dominant on both ends of the floor, like he was tonight, the Clippers could go on to win it all.

We’ll see if he can make it a trend.
