Paul Pierce has always been savage, and when it comes to trolling his rivals, the Boston Celtics legend doesn’t mince words. Pierce is one of the most controversial former players out there, but he embraces that role no matter what.
During a recent appearance on I AM ATHLETE, the Truth spoke about his infamous wheelchair incident, even taking a shot at the Los Angeles Lakers in the process.
“I sprained my knee. I didn’t ask for no wheelchair… I didn’t even get a chance to stand up. I was on the ground like, ‘damn, my sh*t’s loose.’
“I created something that’s gonna live forever. I go to the back, I’m just walking off. I didn’t have to take no sh*t. The only sh*tting I did was on the Lakers!” Pierce said.

He explained that he just tried to get things right since his knee was hurt. Pierce said that he knew it was the NBA Finals, and he was ready to compete against anybody, no matter what. In the end, that worked perfectly for him, leading the Boston Celtics to the promised land with a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Truth has changed his version of this story many times, first admitting he did go to the bathroom in his shorts but then saying he was injured. All these versions made people doubt what really happened, and for most of them, the real version is that Pierce did poo his pants.

This isn’t the only controversial topic he’s discussed recently, as he also touched on his infamous firing from ESPN. Pierce wondered why he was let go for getting some entertainment. Well, now it’s too late to get the answers he’s looking for, and he’s not trying to make amends, either.
Paul Pierce is a very entertaining person, and his insights always give fan something to talk about. The 2008 NBA champion is now a part of Showtime, where he’s showing his talents with Kevin Garnett while also making appearances to talk about some of his most memorable moments on and off the court.
