It was a sensational victory by the Mavericks, and they didn’t even have Luka Doncic against the Lakers. Doncic is currently sidelined due to a thigh strain. But that doesn’t mean, Doncic wasn’t there to support his teammates. He was present on the sidelines. But the reason why he went viral on social media was for getting captured with Russian internet celebrity Hasbulla Magomedov.
It was an instant classic image, and Hasbulla’s expressions in the image are as serious as they can get. Looking at the image sort of feels like Hasbulla is a famous personality while Luka is your average joe.
Another hilarious thing about the image is the huge height difference between the two. While Luka Doncic stands tall at 6’7″, Hasbulla is just 3’4″. Keeping that in mind, it’s great that Luka sat down for the image. Otherwise, the height difference in the picture would have certainly made it awkward.
When Is Luka Doncic Returning From Injury?
While it was good to see Luka Doncic getting some well-deserved rest this season, albeit due to an injury, the Mavericks would like to have him back on the roster as soon as possible.
Doncic has missed four straight games since picking up a thigh sprain injury against the New Orleans Pelicans. There is still no concrete return date for Luka Doncic.
