Speaking of some of the best defenders in the league, one cannot leave the names of Draymond Green and Rudy Gobert out of it. The two superstars are regarded as two of the best modern-day defenders by NBA fans and pundits alike.
But, there seems to be a beef developing between the two stars. Recently, Draymond Green talked about not even mentioning him and Gobert in the same sentence.
It caused a lot of noise in the NBA community. Following the statement by Green, Gobert also broke his silence on the matter.
While it seemed like that would be the end of the beef at the moment, things have once again developed in that department. Gobert recently appeared for an interview with Taylor Rooks, where Rooks quoted what Draymond said about Team France.
“They as the French National Team have been very mouthy when it comes to us, yet they don’t beat us when it matters. Playing with Team USA, it’s us against the world. And to hear guys like [Rudy Gobert] and Evan Fournier get in the media and talk sh*t as if they don’t know how sh*t really goes, pisses me off.”
Gobert gave a pretty smart answer to these claims by Green as he said, “Well, show me what sh*t I talk. I don’t talk sh*t so I wanna see the evidence of me talking shit. But I love the competitiveness. I think in a way, it’s cool that Team USA is finally getting mad at a team. Because they used to kick everyone’s a** since basketball started.”

It feels like the beef between Green and Gobert is far from over. The comments by the Utah Jazz superstar will definitely not sit well with Green.
With that said, in the future, fans will closely observe whenever Green and Gobert face off. But even before that, knowing how vocal Draymond is, he will definitely give a response to Rudy’s comments about Team USA.
