Russell Westbrook’s midseason signing with the Los Angeles Clippers was seen as a huge gamble by the organization as things were finally starting to click for the roster.

However, the Clippers took the risk, and for the first few games, it was as if the team may have made a mistake by signing Russell Westbrook. Well, the new trio of Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George finally registered their first win together against the Memphis Grizzlies. Following the victory, Westbrook shared his thoughts on what the Clippers are capable of doing this season.

“I already know. My job is to keep instilling confidence in Paul and Kawhi to do this every single night,” Westbrook said. “The rest of us do our part, we’re gonna be a hard team to stop.”

Ever since joining the Los Angeles Clippers, Russell Westbrook has shown nothing but confidence in his team. Even when the Clippers were going through a slump, Westbrook showed complete trust in getting the team out of it very soon.

Westbrook’s performance as a starter will play a crucial role in the Clippers’ hopes of achieving that dream. Brodie hasn’t had a great record as a starter in recent memory, but he has finally finished that losing streak.
