Giannis Antetokounmpo is a player that is already an all-time great with the resume he currently has. Antetokounmpo is only 26, and he’s already a two-time MVP, an NBA champion, and a Finals MVP. That’s an extremely impressive collection of accolades, and he could yet add more to the list.

Scottie Pippen has recently expressed his admiration for Giannis Antetokounmpo, claiming that the Greek superstar hasn’t “ran away from anything” while meeting “every challenge”. He also claimed that 76ers’ star Ben Simmons should “take a page” out of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s book.

I’ve always admired the way Giannis has played, the progress he’s made year in and year out, and the fact that he’s not afraid to be humiliated. We saw him shoot airball threes, we saw teams force him to shoot threes. He’s really worked at his craft. Teams started fouling him.

He hasn’t ran away from anything. In fact, he’s met every challenge that’s been thrown at him. I hate to even bring him up, Ben Simmons has to take a page out of his book. As dominant as he should be, he has to play that way.

There’s no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant interior forces we’ve seen in recent memory. Giannis Antetokounmpo has built himself from being a raw prospect to being the superstar he is today. The progress he’s made is nothing short of astounding, and Pippen is right in saying that Antetokounmpo “really worked on his craft”.

The Milwaukee Bucks have started 6-6, and hopefully, they will be able to get stay afloat until Khris Middleton comes back. However, this season, the Milwaukee Bucks can take their time getting into a groove. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks no longer have pressure on them to win their first championship, as they finally got the playoffs monkey off their back. It is important that they find a rhythm soon though, and perhaps we’ll see that happen soon enough.
