Shaquille O’Neal Warned His Daughter To Stay Away From Guys Like Him: “I Was Terrible. I Was The Worse Ever.”

2 Min Read

Besides being one of the most dominant players of all time, Shaquille O’Neal had an interesting life off the court. Even though he was married and had several children with two women, the Los Angeles Lakers legend took a different approach to life after his NBA career was over.

Shaq has had many girlfriends over the years, and even now he’s often seen shooting his shot with beautiful women. O’Neal, however, isn’t proud of his prior actions and made sure that his daughters avoid dating men with that type of behavior.

During a recent edition of The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal talked about the tactics he used to prevent his daughters from meeting people with questionable intentions, just like him in the past (around the 27-minute mark.)

“I tell my daughters I wasn’t nothing,” Shaq said. “I was not nothing. So, you need to watch out. I was terrible. I was the worse ever. So, I can spot them out because I went into worse.”

Shaq knows all the tricks and he’s making sure his girls won’t go through the same thing others went. He’s well aware of how hurtful those actions can be and doesn’t want his daughters to suffer.

He has a good relationship with all his kids, trying to teach them as much as possible about life, money, and even personal relationships. O’Neal is a real one who doesn’t hesitate to help people and tries to protect his loved ones.

It’s unclear if he’s currently dating somebody now, but it seems like when he finds love again, he’ll behave a lot better. Meanwhile, he keeps thriving as an analyst, making headlines with his interesting takes on NBA on TNT.
