LeBron James is one of the best basketball players in NBA history, and there is no doubt that his prowess on the court has impressed many and put fear into the heart of his opponents.

However, even beyond his on-court ability, LeBron James is simply a player that has knowledge of basketball at the highest level. We have seen him get involved with some front-office moves in the past, and some fans have even given him the “LeGM” moniker due to his influence in roster construction decisions.

There are a lot of GOAT debates that center around LeBron James and Michael Jordan. NBA analyst Skip Bayless has Jordan over James, but even he conceded that there is an area of basketball where LeBron James has the advantage. Recently, Skip Bayless claimed that LeBron James would be a better GM than Michael Jordan.

LeBron would make a far, far better GM than Jordan has. But MJ was the far, far better player.

Throughout his career, LeBron James has had a history of knowing what kind of players a team must surround him with for him to win a championship. He has won a championship on every franchise he has been on, and that is not solely by luck.

Meanwhile, Michael Jordan has had a history of making questionable moves as the owner of the Charlotte Hornets. He had some blunders, such as him trading away Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for Miles Bridges on draft night, and at one point, the team was spending $339 million on non-star players over a four-year period.

It is easy to see why Skip Bayless believes his statement to be true. LeBron James has shown a history of being able to help assemble solid teams around himself, while Michael Jordan has been so and so with moves for the Hornets. It is fair to assume that LeBron James could be a better gm than Michael Jordan, though Jordan could obviously put that statement to rest with good moves in the future.

Michael Jordan Wants To Win A Championship With The Charlotte Hornets

Previously, Michael Jordan revealed that his goal is to eventually win a championship with the Charlotte Hornets. They could have a chance to do so in the future, as LaMelo Ball is already an All-Star level player that could potentially develop into a superstar in the future.

It will be interesting to see if the Charlotte Hornets can win a championship in the future. They would have to do well with their next few draft picks, and hopefully, they can surround LaMelo Ball with a championship core.
