Snoop Dogg has mentioned the player that he thinks is the most similar to Kobe Bryant. Snoop has been a diehard Los Angeles Lakers fan, and he doesn’t take these comparisons slightly.

Even so, he recently dared to name the current star that reminds him the most of Kobe, going with 4x NBA champion Stephen Curry.

“The closest that I’d say, would be Steph Curry… He’s never considered the best, but he’s always the best when it’s time to be the best.”

Curry is definitely one of the best players of this generation and arguably a top-10 legend of all time. After securing his 4th NBA championship, the Chef took his name to new levels, pretty much breaking into the top 10 list of all time. With his shooting, Steph changed the game, and he’s become a huge legend, thanks to that.

Kobe Bryant was a great scorer on his own, and when he got into his spot, there was no stopping him. The Black Mamba was a dangerous opponent, someone who didn’t hesitate to go and destroy rivals to get a win.

Even though Curry is pretty cool on the court, his competitiveness could match Kobe’s, and he doesn’t hesitate to show that to the world. He called himself the ‘petty king’ during the 2022 NBA Finals and used all that criticism to become better, leading his Golden State Warriors to the promised land once again.

Snoop Dogg On The Current NBA Player That Reminds Him Of Himself

Snoop Dogg talked about other players in Stephen A.’s World, including the one that reminds him of himself. He went with Oklahoma City Thunder’s young star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Snoop said that Shai doesn’t get that much attention, but he doesn’t care about it and gives his everything against any rival. Another proof of that was Shai’s big performance against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, giving his team another day to live to compete for a playoff spot.
