The NBA is back, and we saw a lot of stars in attendance to watch their favorite teams. Tony Parker and Formula 1 talents Charles LeClerc and Pierre Gasly watched the Milwaukee Bucks while Floyd Mayweather, Justin Bieber, and Usher watched the Los Angeles Lakers.

After a magical 2020/21 season, there was excitement to see the New York Knicks again. Madison Square Garden welcomed plenty of stars to watch the Knickerbockers season debut in front of the Boston Celtics.

The one that couldn’t miss this game was Spike Lee, probably the biggest Knicks fan on earth. The movie director suited up for the occasion, picking an expensive but eye-popping suit to attend the match. According to ESPN’s Nick DePaula, Lee’s Louis Vuitton x NBA suit costs $5,000.

Wednesday night was terrific for Lee and his Knicks. Besides showing his drip, he saw the Knickerbockers take on the Celtics and beat them in 2OT. Evan Fournier and Derrick Rose showed up in clutch moments during regulation and overtime to propel their team to the win.

Following a season where they surprised everybody, the Knicks are ready to have a deeper playoff run and demonstrate that last season wasn’t a fluke. They beat a direct rival in the Celtics behind All-Star Julius Randle’s 35 points.

Jaylen Brown tried to take the W for the C’s with 46 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, but that wasn’t enough to get past the Knicks.

It was a great start to the season for New York. They want to make a statement this season and wins like this only fuel their confidence to face a stacked Eastern Conference. The future is bright for the Knicks and everybody in the city is enjoying how great this team plays.
