The Chicago Bulls legend achieved everything a player could imagine. Be it NBA championships or regular-season MVPs, Mike has it all in his trophy cabinet.
But what if someone has the same name as the NBA legend? Well, NFL star Michael Jordan is going through the same issue. No, we are not joking, Carolina Panthers have a guard on their team who has the same name as the NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
Now, that’s something else. Apparently, it’s hard to get even regular tasks done such as ordering pizza when people think you are pulling a prank on them. The Panthers guard shared a story due to the trouble he once had to go through due to sharing the name with ‘Hir Airness’ MJ.

“I placed it online in the name of ‘Michael Jordan.’ All of a sudden, it says it will be here in 20 minutes. So I called the place and said I placed an order for Michael Jordan. He started cussing me out. He said, ‘It’s Super Bowl Sunday. You can’t be playing around with fake names like that.’ Then I went in and showed him my ID, and I got free pizza for a week.”
Jordan further said, “I was named after my father. I’m actually pretty terrible at basketball. You can ask the guys in the locker room. They already know that. I’ve been terrible since I’ve been a kid. I’ve got to look at the ball when I dribble.”
Well, it seems like the similarities between the two players end at their names. The NFL’s Jordan is quite terrible at basketball, unlike the former Chicago Bulls legend.
We can only imagine, how weird it must be for him to unnecessarily get cussed out due to people believing he is only pulling off a prank. Let’s hope this news reaches the NBA’s Michael Jordan, it will be pretty hilarious to see his reaction.
