Steph Curry On Warriors’ Offseason Plans: “Things Are Fluid, Let’s Put It That Way.”

Golden State Of Mind

After another disappointing finish, the Golden State Warriors are in a state of flux right now, and nobody is sure what lies ahead for their future.

In a chat with Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Dubs star Steph Curry confirmed as much:

“I know we’re staying patient. I’ve talked to Bob, I’ve talked to Joe, I’ve talked to Coach Kerr over the last couple weeks. Things are fluid, let’s put it that way.”

Steph was an MVP candidate this past season and nearly carried the Warriors to a postseason appearance before being eliminated in the play-in.

Now, with Curry’s 33rd birthday in the past, the clock is ticking for Golden State to build a Championship-level roster around him.

Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins have all played crucial roles for the franchise at one point or another, but there is no guarantee all of them will return to the team next season.

Potential targets could include Kevin Love, Rudy Gay, and Marcus Smart.

Whatever the case, we can expect the Warriors to go all-in next season. After getting the green light from Curry, they’re surely in for a busy, busy summer.

For their sake, let’s hope it leads to the desired results.
