Stephen Curry After LeBron James Hit A Game-Winning Shot: “All-Time Great Players Make Great Shots.”

2 Min Read

LeBron James closed an epic game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors with a big 3-pointer that sealed the deal for the purple and gold in the last minute of the game.

Although he was poked in his eye and saw three rims, LeBron did the job. A big triple in front of Stephen Curry ended the Warriors’ hopes to win the game and gave the Lakers the 7th seed in the Western Conference.

Right after LeBron sank that 3, Curry looked at him trying to figure out how he did it. Following the game, he had an explanation for that play: that’s what all-time greats do.

“It’s a great shot.. He was kind of out of play and they found him, he got his balance just in time and knocked it down. That was a tough one because you don’t really expect it to go in, you expect us to get the rebound and come down in transition, have the possession to take the lead but everything changed when it goes in. All-time great players make great shots. That’s what happens, no different tonight. That’s what happens.”

The respect between these two is huge. They showed that before, during and after the game, sharing a hug perfectly sums up their relationship.

A lot has been said about Curry and Bron over the years. However, in recent times, people started claiming the King would try to lure the Warriors superstar to Los Angeles to form a Big 3 with Anthony Davis.

Now the Warriors will face the Memphis Grizzlies. The latter beat the San Antonio Spurs behind a big performance by Jonas Valanciunas. The Dubs have another chance to make it to the playoffs. If they win the last play-in game, the Utah Jazz will be waiting for them in the first round of the postseason.
