Everything Stephen Curry touches just seems to turn into gold. The four-time NBA champion recently took part in the American Century Celebrity golf tournament and went on to win it in stunning fashion.

Curry was understandably ecstatic after coming out on top, as he stated it was a dream come true. When a reporter hilariously asked him though if he was considering retiring from the NBA to play golf after this impressive win, he had a brilliant response.

“Have y’all seen those CBA terms in the NBA? Life is good in the league, so I’ll be alright,” Curry said.

Curry will be the highest-paid player in the NBA next season at $51.9 million next season, so he’s doing just fine. With the likes of Jaylen Brown also potentially landing a $304 million deal, Curry certainly plans to stick around and the way he is going, you wouldn’t be surprised if he lands another max deal before his career comes to an end.

He is coming off yet another excellent season on an individual level, with averages of 29.4 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 6.3 APG, 0.9 SPG, and 0.4 BPG in the 2022-23 campaign. He has his eyes set on winning more NBA titles with the Golden State Warriors and golf will have to take a backseat for now.

Stephen Curry Was Having A Blast At The Celebrity Tournament

Curry was putting on quite a show for the fans at this tournament. He made one insane hole-in-one shot from really far out that had even LeBron James in awe of him. Steph was also showing off his basketball shooting skills to the crowd at the course and nearly made an insane no-look shot as well.

He went on to win the tournament with a score of 75, just beating out former tennis player Mardy Fish, who finished with 73 points. Curry did it in some style too, with an eagle on the 18th hole to get the win.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
