Stephen Curry On Golden State Warriors’ Recent Struggles: “Losing Sucks… We Don’t Want To Get Into A Situation Where We Get Used To A Losing Feeling.”

2 Min Read

Stephen Curry and the Warriors are currently 12-12, good for the 9th seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors have been extremely inconsistent to start the season, due to the need to integrate many new faces into their system, leading to some frustrating losses. Losing isn’t something that most basketball teams want, and it is bad to have a losing culture on a team, especially a former contender with an MVP candidate.

Stephen Curry himself has expressed some frustrations with losing. Stephen Curry recently spoke to the media about his mindset and talked about the importance of winning.

The Warriors have been a contender as recently as 2019 before a slew of injuries hit them, and Kevin Durant left in free agency. The Warriors were a menace to the NBA world, and their superteam was at the top of the world for a few years. But now the Warriors enter a year without Klay Thompson once again, and they have to figure it out on the fly. It will take time for everyone to get fully comfortable with their role on the roster, but with Stephen Curry, they will always have a chance to win.

Hopefully, the Warriors improve in the near future. It would be a shame to see one of Stephen Curry’s best years wasted on a team with a losing record. However, the Golden State Warriors do have all the pieces to be successful again, and if they reach those levels of success again, the rest of the league should watch out.
