The Golden State Warriors drafted two interesting players on draft night: James Wiseman and Nico Mannion. The Dubs were rumored to be trading their No. 2 pick but nothing happened in the end; now they have their big man in Wiseman and a very interesting guard in Mannion.

Even though Klay Thompson could miss another full season due to an injury, the Warriors are optimistic that they can compete this season after landing the pair of good players. Stephen Curry reacted to the Dubs picking these two guys remembering something interesting about them. Both Wiseman and Mannion once attended Curry camp and he posted two pics remembering those moments.

Steph wasn’t the only one welcoming his new teammates. Draymond Green and Erich Paschall took to Twitter to salute Wiseman, who was the second pick of the night.

Wiseman revealed he’s ready to start a new chapter in his life after the tumultuous year he had with the Memphis Tiger.

“I miss it, man,” Wiseman recently told Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix. “I miss it a lot. Everything about this last year has been really hard. I’m ready to put it all behind me. I’m ready to move forward.”

Mannion reacted after being selected with the 48th overall pick, explaining that playing alongside Curry he’ll learn a lot of things.

“That’s just another situation that I see that’s surreal,” Mannion said. “When I found out, that was kind of the first thing I thought of: I get to learn from Steph. He’s been in the league for a while, a multi-time MVP. I actually got to meet him already. I played at Steph’s camp and kind of get to know him a little bit. But I’m excited, man. I think the biggest thing for me is I get someone I can really learn from. He’s a vet and one of the best players to ever play. I’m just going to be like a sponge, trying to soak up as much information from him as I can.”

They will miss Klay if the injury he suffered yesterday is bad; still, Stephen Curry, Draymond and the young players they have can have a good season the next one, trying to demonstrate they aren’t done in the league.
