The Identity Of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Hacker Has Been Revealed

2 Min Read

A few days ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Twitter was taken over by an unknown hacker. Normally, the accounts are temporarily taken down, reset, and everyone moves on.

But in this case, the hacker sent out some particularly nasty tweets in Giannis’ name, bringing up the Bucks, Steph Curry, and the deceased Kobe Bean Bryant.

The dude definitely went too far and once people got wind of the hacker and his ridiculously bad comments, the Twitter world went to work tracking down the hacker. It didn’t take long for people to connect the dots.

A 16-year-old named Christian Boulton is the suspected hacker. He bragged about the hack beforehand and was also linked to a girl named “kaylee” who he gave a shoutout to on Giannis’ account.

With the identity discovered, people went crazy — going so far as to find (and post) his address.

Hopefully, nothing bad happens to him, but he really should have thought twice before hacking the account of an NBA pro basketball player.

This story does have a good ending though. Giannis took back control of his account and issued a public apology on behalf of those the hacker targeted in his tweets.

“I feel terrible that the Bucks, Khris, LeBron and the Curry family were included in the malicious and untrue tweets. I feel especially terrible for the Bryant family, during their time of grief they should not be subjected to this type of negativity and foul behavior. Thank you all for always supporting my family and I, and please stay safe!”

Looks like that’s over.
