The NBA Community Reacts After Lakers Take A 2-1 Series Lead Over The Trail Blazers

2 Min Read

Games one and two of the Lakers/Blazers series didn’t give us much of an indication as to how things are going to play out.

Portland took Game 1 in a rather inspiring effort while the Lakers took the next one in a complete blowout victory. In Game 3, nobody was really sure what to expect, except that it would be must-see tv.

After a hard-fought three-quarters of basketball, it was L.A. who pulled away with the win tonight. Thanks to Portland going cold on the offensive end, and LeBron helping seal the deal in the closing minutes, they ended the night with a 2-1 series lead over the Blazers.

Here are some of the reactions online:

For the first time this series, both LeBron and AD had huge nights, combining for 67 points. They shot 50% from the field for the game and beat Portland on the boards 55-38.

The Blazers enjoyed a big night from Carmelo Anthony, who caught fire in the fourth, but it wasn’t enough to pull off a win.

In the end, the Blazers still have a chance in this series. But if they are to win, they’ve got to get more production from their bench, who dropped just 8 points in the game.

It will be interesting to see how they respond on Monday.
