Tim Duncan Receives High Praise From His Kickboxing Trainer: “He’s A F*****g Monster.”

During his time in the NBA, San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan didn’t strike as the violent type to anyone. He had a very calm and quiet personality and let his game do all the talking.

Of course, there were some exceptions to it. Kevin Garnett once revealed how Timmy would trash talk to his opponents in a unique way. Anyway, in his NBA career, Duncan achieved everything a player could ever imagine.

When he retired from the league, he was a 5x NBA Champ, 3x NBA Finals MVP, 2x NBA MVP, and had a plethora of more accolades. On top of that, he spent his entire career with the Spurs.

Following his retirement from the NBA, fans haven’t heard much from him and there are no surprises in that, to be honest. But it seems like Duncan has picked up a new hobby after spending 19 seasons in the NBA.

Timmy found a love for Kickboxing. And just like his time in the NBA, he is having a phenomenal time practicing martial arts. No, we aren’t saying this out of the blue. Duncan’s trainer revealed that in a 2017 interview.

Via Bleacher Report:

B/R: Did you have any expectations when you met him about what he might be like?

JE: I was never a sports fan other than UFC and kickboxing. I was never into basketball or football or anything. Being in San Antonio, it’s hard to not know who Tim Duncan is. When he walked in, he was always the quiet guy in the public eye; I believe I saw a different side of him, because he’s a roaring lion in martial arts.

He’s an animal. It’s a different thing than what you see out on the court. The more intense the training gets, the more calm he becomes, which you’ve seen on the court. The way he executes the movements, he’s a f*****g monster.

Well, as opposed to his calm and collected personality on the NBA court, Duncan is full of aggression when he’s practicing martial arts.

Maybe that’s all the aggression that he suppressed throughout his time in the NBA. Regardless, it’s great to know that The Big Fundamental found a hobby post his amazing time in the NBA.
